The Bonn Declaration on Freedom of Scientific Research has been signed by all EU member states and the Commission.
Canada, Israel, Mexico, Norway, Switzerland and Ukraine have also supported the content of the document.

The RDA Bulgaria Node received information from dr. Tiberius Ignat about the possibility for Bulgarian researchers to take part in the conference Building Consistency for Open Science in Europe: Rhetoric and Practice.

A national plan for the development of Open Science Initiatives in Bulgaria has been approved by the Ministry of Education and Science (MES) in January 2021.
The new Open Research Europe (ORE) platform – funded by the European Commission – is now up and running.
In the context of adopting and implementing technological and / or domain specific research data solutions in EOSC, the Research Data Alliance (RDA) is seeking technological experts to generate dedicated implementation documentation to be made available to adopters.
